New Questline Revealed for The Edge of Allegoria

(This ain't no f@#%ing kid's game, y'all.)

Part of my mission here is to feature games “off the AAA-beaten path,” and The Edge of Allegoria is a prime example of that. If you’re not up on what the game is:

“Explore a vast world, filled with secrets, dungeons, loot, and colorful characters who need your help...or maybe not. Fight against a bunch of different creatures, master your equipment and skills, prove your worth, and find out what's really happening in this crazy fantasy world.”

Sure, Button Factory’s game looks like a classic 2-bit RPG, but once you dive in, it’s anything but. It’s a more adult take on games from that era, and the new questline introduced today at the Six One Indie Showcase certainly falls into that category.

That’s right - you’re collecting dead horse parts for self-professed horse master Pascal Pixel to get the Hobby Horse, Allegoria’s version of the bike from Pokemon.

The Edge of Allegoria's planned release date is Q4 of 2024, but make sure to wishlist the game on Steam and check out the demo!
