My name is Amanda, I’m addicted to coffee, and I love indie games.
OH MAN, now that that’s out of the way and I’ve filled up my fields in Rusty’s Retirement, it’s time to talk about myself, more, right? (Even though I hate talking about myself.)
In addition to the above, I’m a mom to a SUPER active five-year-old who we’re just letting discover games, wife, a little bit of everything over at
, and just recently I went back to working retail after a five-year break. I went back to school in 2021 and added a Communications degree to my resume in hopes of bolstering my chances of getting a job working Comms or Community or Social Media at a studio, but it hasn’t worked out.But my love for games hasn’t. Working retail, I was happiest when I was telling someone about a game they’d probably never heard of, and seeing them come back and tell me how much they loved it. That’s when I knew that games were my thing. I want to connect people with their next favorite games experience, and the people who make those games.
