A little fire to close out September's Six One Indie Showcase

A game about an adorable flame being made with paper? Meet Pirofauna, the latest work from Petums, who also developed the 2021 point-and-click puzzle game Papetura.

You play as a friendly little fire-flame sprite, learning about and exploring the forest and taking time to help the inhabitants as you can light up the dark, send unfriendly creatures on their way, and help lost bugs find their way.

There’s no date yet for Pirofauna, as developer Tomasz Ostafin adds in the video that he’s got paper, scissors, and glue “in motion.” You can wishlist the game on Steam to keep up with the development of this soon-to-be indie gem.
